Take time to express your gratitude to Gerald Caudill and the other members of the Facilities Master Plan Committee. They have worked for a long time and have served our church well. Please be in prayer as we begin to consider how best to move forward and turn dreams into reality.

Timing of Projects and Commitment of Funds

A number of questions have been asked concerning timing of projects and commitment of funds to support the project.  Below are a few comments to address these concerns:

The motions before the church do not have a time table associated with them and do not commit the church to any actions without other motions being brought before the church and the church voting.  What these motions do is establishes the desire of the church to move in a specific direction and empowers other committees to take actions to move in the direction decided by the church.

As to timing, assuming the church votes in favor of the motions, various committees of the church will need to develop specific timetables to move forward with the implementation of the master plan.  At each step in the process, assuming approval from the church, modifications will have to be made in the plans and schedules that are compatible with the funding available, bids from contractors, and approval from the City of Murfreesboro required to obtain various permits.  The entire process will take years, but various elements may be done in much less time if funding and approvals are obtained.

No fund raising efforts will be initiated without approval of the church.  No more money will be spent without approval of the church.
