The First Baptist Children's Ministry loves all children as a gift from God. The Word of God is taught in a relative, personal way. Various interactive methods of teaching such as music, drama, computer games, art and discussion are used, all in a clean, spacious and safe environment. FBC has a great desire to nurture your child's personal spiritual development, foster their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to provide opportunities for them to serve others in the name of Jesus.

Children’s Sunday School (Kindergarten – 6th grade) will have a new look for the Summer of ’08! Beginning June 1, we will be using the Rotation Workshop Model. Children will rotate to a new workshop each Sunday for 7 weeks. Workshops include: Drama, Cooking, Games, Computers, Art, Missions and Multimedia. Research tells us that repeating the same story through different learning media for several weeks increases Bible literacy. The rotation model is practical for teachers and fun for students.
The first 7 week rotation will focus on the Fruit of the Spirit and the second 7 week rotation will focus on the Life of Joseph. After June 1, check the Children’s Sunday School bulletin board on the 2nd Floor to find out your child's age group location each week.
