United Way and our 45 partner agencies and programs are working to advance the common good by focusing on the building blocks for a meaningful life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and life-long physical and mental health. These building blocks are also the basics needed for rebuilding lives of individuals and families overwhelmed by misfortune and circumstance.

Our vision for Rutherford and Cannon Counties is simple: create lasting positive changes right here at home. One out of every four people in Rutherford and Cannon Counties has been helped by a United Way agency at some point in their lives. Our goal is to make sure these long-lasting changes prevent problems from happening in the first place.
