ABSENTEE/DIGITAL BALLOT: Constitution and Bylaws Amendment

FBC’s Constitution and Bylaws committee has engaged in prayerful, thoughtful consideration in order to produce the amendment on this ballot. In accordance with our bylaws, the committee then delivered the proposed amendment to the moderator, and it was brought before the church in a quarterly business meeting. The church voted to move forward with the process and the proposed amendment was discussed at a called business meeting per our bylaws, after which another vote advanced the proposed amendment to this final vote.

The final vote on the amendment proposed by FBC’s Constitution and Bylaws Committee will take place both via digital ballot below and via paper ballot at the beginning of worship on Sunday, June 16th in accordance with our bylaws, which make provision for absentee voting. The proposed amendment must receive a two-thirds majority affirmative vote to be adopted into our governing documents.
