Baptist Women in Ministry Sunday

Sunday, February 17
10:30 a.m.

Join us Sunday, February 17 for 10:30 a.m. worship as we celebrate Baptist Women in Ministry Month of Preaching (formerly Martha Stearns Marshall Month of Preaching) by welcoming Minister Tamara Crutcher of First Baptist Church East Castle Street as our guest preacher. We will have special music from Castle Street musicians as well as our own Chancel Choir, so don’t miss this special worship opportunity!

Tamara Crutcher serves as an associate minister at First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN. She is a Lewisburg, TN native and received a Bachelor’s of Sociology degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 2009. Currently, Tamara is pursuing her master’s degree in Social Work. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Derrick Crutcher.

Mrs. Crutcher was licensed to preach at First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN under the leadership of Pastor James M. McCarroll, Jr. She has a passion for sharing the gospel and helping women and at-risk youth lead lives on fire for the Lord. Currently, Mrs. Crutcher works behind the scenes in community mental health, is a published author, and is the founder of FIT Women of God—an online ministry designed to help women identify their strength in Christ and become faithful in the transitional spaces of life.

She approaches ministry and life with the mentality that God has brought her too far to hide in the back now. This approach has aided her in showing others how God can use them no matter where they are in life. Tamara’s belief is that God never intended for us to navigate through this world alone, so His expectation is that we do life together.
