Right in the Heart of
Downtown Murfreesboro

Join us for worship online or in person! If you visit us on site, you can enter through the Welcome Center on Spring Street, across from the Bank of America parking lot. There is visitor parking on Spring Street, and greeters in the Welcome Center can answer any questions you have and show you where to go. Our online worship services are hosted on Vimeo. Scroll for more info on what to expect.

In-Person Worship:

Parking:

Designated Visitor and Accessible Parking can be found on Spring Street near the Welcome Center entrance. You may also park in the Bank of America lot across Spring Street, in the FBC Parking Lot on Vine Street, or in the street parking on East Main in front of the church steps.

Entrances:

Our main entrance is the Welcome Center entrance on Spring Street, but you can also enter via the front steps on Main Street or through Vine Street entrance, which includes a drive through drop off area under an awning. As you enter, you'll be greeted warmly by greeters and deacons. As you make your way into our sanctuary you'll be provided with a worship bulletin containing information about our church, the morning's order of worship, and announcements.

Accessibility:

We have wheel chair accessible ramps leading into our sanctuary through our Welcome Center. Those with accessibility needs can also enter through our Vine Street entrance, which includes a drive through drop off area. Large Print worship bulletins are available upon request, so ask one of our greeters and they will make sure you get one. The area of our sanctuary closest to Main Street beneath the balcony is equipped with additional speakers to further amplify sound for the hearing impaired. Accessible restrooms are available on the first floor of our building.

Dress:

Some of our church members dress up for church while others come in casual clothes, so whether you prefer to wear jeans, T-shirts, khakis, dresses, or suits, we encourage you to come as you are comfortable and worship God with us.

Music:

The worship at FBC is varied- on a given Sunday you may hear hymns and praise songs, a bluegrass ensemble, soloists and congregational singing, piano, organ, and more. The music reflects the gifts and talents of our congregation. Lyrics are displayed on screens and are available in our hymnals.

Sermons:

The style of Dr. Money's sermons leans into story telling. Challenging and accessible, the sermons at FBC are always relevant and rooted in the truth of the Bible as understood through the lens of Jesus Christ.

Online Worship:

If you join us for worship via Vimeo, you can participate live or watch the archived services at your convenience. We know and affirm that those who join us online are equally valuable and just as much a part of our church as those present in our building.
